    According to what I was told, This guy Corky McCorquodale, started Texas Hold'em and had a Illegal Poker Game / Casino in Texas.
    The now extremely popular, WSOP (World Series Of Poker) adopted no-limit Texas Hold'em, as its main event;  for their annual tournament, back in 1970
    This  'Circle M' was one of the original chips used at his underground Casino / Poker Game.
