Antique 1908 Stanley Brass Clad 23" Level No. 3

This is a Antique 1908 Stanley Brass Clad 23" Level No. 3.
The level is 22 7/8" (just slightly under 23") x 3" x 1 1/4".  The STANLEY brass plaque is shown in a closeup photo and you should be able to read the engraved text on the photo.  This information includes two patent dates, one in 1906 and one in 1908.  The ends of the levels are protected by heavy, inset brass plates measuring 3/8" deep at each end and 3/16" deep between the ends.
PLEASE NOTE:   At the time of the original listing, this was one of four listings being added for antique and vintage tools including two different types of levels, a plumb, and compass / scribe
.  These were all purchased in USA.  We also have a variety of other antique and vintage tools, some American, and quite a few purchased on a buying trip to England last year.  Many of the latter are brass or brass clad.
The stands are each 8 3/8" tall not including the curved spikes.  They have ornate designs and figural handles.  They are nicely patinated as seen.  There is no signature nor maker's mark.
Condition
The level is in excellent used condition.
