The Bermuda 50 Dollars is part of the family of notes issued in 2009 to commemorate the 40 years of service of the Bermuda Monetary Authority and Bermudas 400th year of settlement by the British navigator Sir George Somers. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. On the banknotes vertical-oriented obverse side depicts a long tail bird, flowers, and Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse displays the Saint Peters church in Saint Georgetown and butterflies. The Bermuda 50 Dollar banknote which is 136 x 69 mm in size has an Optiks security thread. Furthermore, it has a watermark which reflects a hibiscus flower, an electrotype sailboat, and Cornerstones./p>
