    Description

    Rare original antique print from an 1890s French illustrated journal.
    It depicts a hunter at the moment that he shoots and kills a rabbit with a rifle. His trusty flat-coated retriever is frozen in a point, waiting to retrieve the rabbit. Good dog!
    The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture fills about half the page and measures about 8.25 x 5.25 inches, with a French caption below and unrelated text around it. The text could easily be trimmed before framing, or hidden under a window mat.
    The page has light fox marks in the outer white margin area. It does not cross into the picture area.
    There is text/photos on the back of the print.
