    Description

    This is a large Asian Carved Wood Puppet Head that comes from an estate sale. I am not an expert on puppet heads. I could not find another one exactly like this one in my own research. This looks to be old and hand carved out of some type of wood. It still has remnants of possible the original paint. The eyes are most likely made out of glass. The head measures 10” tall by 6” at its widest point. It sits on a block of wood attached to a metal rod. The inside is hollow with a piece of wood that when moved allows the puppets mouth to move. It does not have any makers marks or signatures. Please look at the pictures carefully for details.
